Teasel Root is used in protocols to address joint, tendon, and deep tissue symptoms.
Teasel root has been used for centuries in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) to address rheumatism and connective tissue problems.
As of 2010 in the U.S., Teasel is emerging as an integral part in Lyme Disease Protocols. Anecdotally, it is said to 'drive or invite' Lyme spirochetes out of the connective tissues, however, it could have a role in inhibiting MMPs that are produced. (See our Joint Support category for more info on MMPs.)
